Collection of EPS in Portuguese fishing ports. ♻️

In collaboration with Doca Pesca, we have launched a project that aims to collect EPS fish boxes from almost all fishing ports across Portugal.

The small town Sesimbra on the south coast is one of the first ports to join this collaboration.

We are applying different types of solutions depending on the quantities that each harbor generates. In Sesimbra, we have installed retention cages, so that fish boxes can be deposited in one accessible place, allowing for easier collection while preventing any waste from ending up in the sea.

"This kind of cages is one of the best solutions to fix the problem of collecting fish boxes in the harbors - To avoid that they go into the sea or garbage bin. I think we have found the best possible solution here", says Pedro M. Luis, Managing Director of BEWiSynbra Circular in Portugal.

Make it easier to collect EPS ♻️✅

Our holder keeps the Use-ReUse bag in place and makes it easier to collect used EPS. It can handle industrial environments, the lid makes sure that the EPS stays in the bag. The holder also comes with a grille that can be used in combination with the lid or separately. It is easy and convenient to change the bag when it’s full by lifting the grille and releasing the bag from the holder.

EPS is 100% recyclable. Use-ReUse collects used EPS, recycle and use it to produce new EPS, which lowers CO2-emissions and saves resources. Do something for the planet, put your used EPS in the bag.

At BEWiSynbra Packaging in Värnamo, we have one our collection points for EPS recycling⁣. ♻️💚

For a long time, we have collected leftover EPS material at our from our customersat ou. Now we make it easier for everyone to make sure their EPS is recycled. To increase awareness that EPS is 100% recyclable and help the public to sort resources correctly the Use-ReUse bins are placed right outside the factory - and open for both individuals and companies. Leave your leftover EPS material from construction or packaging with us! And we will recycle it.
